Are ......... Good pets and TIPS:)?

If you have the proper setup and its not illegal, they can be. The only difference is color. Youd want to get them as ducklings so they bond to you and they look at you like your their parent. I never owned ducks, but I know they need a safe, dry place to sleep at night so predators cant get them, and need to be able to walk around in the grass outside and have a pond to swim in. You also are going to have duck poo to clean up. Not sure what they eat, I heard cracked corn and romaine lettuce and pond plants, but I think there is more you have to feed them.
