Does this sound like a good idea for a book series?

I would much rather read a book about unpredictable teen characters. It sounds like a book that's been written before. Be original. Do more research in what you want your characters to be like and even address a real social issue like bullying, that is a problem in society today. Don't just make these characters stereotypical or predictable, make the reader really think- I know that's what I desired as a teen. I'm not really old, I would still read a teen book now, but that's just my advice.
